In Memoriam (Father's of C)

Dennis died in early October, 2011. This is a note from his sister and brothers:
As Dennis's siblings, Lynn, John, and Bill Ritchie--on behalf of the entire Ritchie family--we wanted to convey to all of you how deeply moved, astonished, and appreciative we are of the loving tributes to Dennis that we have been reading. We can confirm what we keep hearing again and again:

Dennis was an unfailingly kind, sweet, unassuming, and generous brother--and of course a complete geek. He had a hilariously dry sense of humor, and a keen appreciation for life's absurdities--though his world view was entirely devoid of cynicism or mean-spiritedness.

We are terribly sad to have lost him, but touched beyond words to realize what a mark he made on the world, and how well his gentle personality--beyond his accomplishments--seems to be understood.

Seketika Di Masjid

Alhamdulillah, banyak kereta kelihatan parking di persekitaran masjid. Kelibat lelaki perempuan saling keluar masuk masjid. Semuanya niatnya hanya satu, menunaikan solat maghrib, sebelum meneruskan perjalanan ke destinasi masing-masing.

tapi sayang, kita saling bersolat seorang diri dalam ruang masjid yang luas itu, melepaskan tanggungjawab peribadi.

Aku merasakan inilah kelemahan utama kita!

Kita ramai, tapi tiada berjamaah!

Vacation Club - Beringat Sebelum Terkena

"aku pernah bekerja dlm bidang nie..sebenarnya banyak syarikat yang buat Vacation club nie.... org ramai di panggil dgn umpan free..biasalah org kita nie dgr je free..semua semangat nak p..hakikatnya..sedarlah..tiada dalam dunia nie..mcm mana biz nak berkembang kalau free...syarikat2 vc nie sebanrnya buat promosi hotel2 mereka..itu shj..utk pengetahuan..hotel banyak2 dlm malaysia nie..occupancy rate bkn nya tiap2 mlm..penuh 100..oleh itu pemilik2 hotel nie terpaksa fikir mcm mana nak maksimumkan keuntungan dgn memastikan occupancy rate sentiasa 100% full..sbb tu penggunaan VC biasanya time luar waktu puncak..sbb waktu hotel banyak kosong..dari banyak kosong baik dipromosikan agar berpenghuni terutamanya diluar waktu puncak.. dgn umpan free..potential member pun di buat tawaran yang kononnya sagant lumayan dan menjimatkan kos percutian..so ramailah yang bersusah payah..sangup berhutang lagi utk menjadi club member.. hakikatnya iondah khabar dari..berbelanjalah mengikut kemampuan..dunia biz hari nie...berbanding zaman dahulu..sgt berbeza..dulu kita bayar semasa kita memnggunakan perkhidmatan..tp zaman skrang..kita x guna pun..kita dah bayar.. jadilah pengguna yang bijak..
